Pat Canadeo is the owner and home inspector of Canadeo Home Inspections. The aspect of the home inspection business that Pat loves the most is far and away how gratifying it is to help people make it through such a challenging moment in their lives. Buying a home is intensely stressful because of how much is riding on the outcome—a good investment can bring years of satisfaction while a bad one can take years to correct. Pat draws from his immense knowledge of residential construction and maintenance to alleviate that stress by empowering his customers to make an informed and confident home-buying decision.
A Home Inspector Who Has Put in the Time
Prior to becoming a home inspector, Pat worked for over 35 years as a licensed builder and remodeling contractor. The housing industry has always appealed to Pat for the simple fact that it’s a highly skill-based trade that is essential to the security and comfort of others. When he transitioned to home inspections, Pat was overjoyed that he could now utilize his experience to work directly with home buyers, instilling greater awareness of a home’s quality so that families are able to make investments backed by knowledge.

- Pat wants his customers to come along for the inspection whenever they can so that he provide a jumpstart on understanding an inspection report by discussing his findings in person
- After the inspection report is delivered, you can still call Pat at any time to ask questions about the inspection results and to seek additional information about the home
- Pat knows a lot about generalized home construction, but he’s especially well-versed in the preferences of home buyers in Wisconsin and Michigan—you can count on him to deliver the facts you need, whether you’re buying a first home, a vacation home, or a lakefront property
When he’s not inspecting homes, Pat enjoys building cabinets and other woodworking projects. Pat is tremendously fond of spending time out in nature, and he loves to go hunting, fishing, and snowmobiling.
